I built MW CSV Import to solve a practical content-management problem in MediaWiki: turning structured CSV data into templated pages without custom one-off scripts for every import. The tool gave wiki operators a usable interface for bulk content ingestion.

It found a wider audience in the MediaWiki ecosystem because it was straightforward, useful, and solved an annoying workflow cleanly.
